Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 10-14-26
Heritage Dental Associates (the “Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that heritagedentalutah.com is accessible to people with disabilities, including patients, caregivers, prospective patients, and members of the public. We believe that access to information and dental care is a right, and we work to deliver that experience to every visitor.
Our commitment
We strive to maintain a website that is as technologically accessible as reasonably possible and consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) (the “Guidelines”). The Guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these. We aim to adhere to the Guidelines as they are updated or otherwise amended from time to time.
Measures we take
Our ongoing accessibility efforts include:
- Periodic manual and automated accessibility reviews of our website.
- Remediation of functionality and content issues identified during those reviews.
- Keyboard navigation support, descriptive link text, alternative text for informative images, and sufficient color contrast on new content.
- Training our team to consider accessibility when they add or update content.
Because we revise content regularly and the Guidelines continue to evolve, usability may not function perfectly in every area of the website at every moment. Our accessibility work is ongoing.
Third-party content
Some content on our website is provided by third parties (for example, embedded videos, online scheduling, patient forms, review widgets, maps, chat and virtual-consult tools, and payment or financing links). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we encourage our vendors to meet or exceed the Guidelines, and we will work with you to provide the same information in an accessible format where we are able to.
Compatibility and assistive technology
Our website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers and with widely used assistive technologies, including screen readers and voice-recognition software. If you use an older browser or assistive technology, some pages may not display or function as intended. We recommend updating to the latest version of your browser and assistive technology for the best experience.
Alternative formats and reasonable accommodations
If you need information from our website in an alternative format, or if you need help scheduling an appointment, completing a form, or communicating with our office, please contact us using the information below. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or accommodation you need.
Reporting accessibility issues
If, at any time, you have difficulty using this website, a particular page, or a function on this site, or if you have found an inaccessible area, please contact us. When reporting an issue, please include:
- The web page address (URL) where the problem occurred.
- A description of the problem and the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using.
- The format in which you would like to receive the content, if applicable (for example, large print, accessible PDF, audio, or email).
- Your contact information so we can follow up with you.
We will review each report, work to make the page accessible, and if a page cannot be made accessible, we will work to provide the information in an alternative format.
Formal complaints
We welcome your feedback. If we are not able to resolve your concern through the contact information below, you may also contact the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section, at www.ada.gov, which enforces Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
